This claim shack photo was taken in 1908 or 1909. The persons known in this photo are:
Ethel Meth, wearing the white blouse and black skirt.
Lorene Meth-Crouse (one of the twins in chair at right)
Lucille Meth-Taylor (one of the twins in chair at right)
The twins are the daughters of Ethel Meth. Ethel Meth was married to Edgar Meth. It is not known if Edgar Meth is in this photo or not. It is believed that Mr. Meth eventually worked at the post office on 13th Street in Omaha.

The number on the claim shack appears to be 5604, seen carved in the vertical board on the left edge, and also scratched on the side next to the carved numbers. It is not clear exactly which streets are visible. Also, if you can identify any of the other buildings in the background, let us know.
