Boy Scouts Troop 20 have worked hard to improve our community, doing projects at several locations.
2013: Troop 20, Pack 2, Pack 5 and Pack 320 picked up a total of 1,903 items for thanks Scouting for Food program and delivered it to a local food pantry in Florence.
August 21: Bank of Florence Park Landscaping and Beautification Project (Dan Sammons Eagle Project) (on north side of bank) (())
September 4: The Florence Home project improved the view that the residents had when looking out the windows, adding some color and movement.
May 8: NE corner of the Drug Store at 30th and State Street.
In October 2004, Troop 20 worked hard improving the Florence Depot flower beds, getting them ready for spring 2005.
The Boy Scouts also helped out with the Birthday Bash on August 28th, 2004 by selling concessions at the Bank of Florence.
The Boy Scouts Troop #20 have been chosen to lead the Florence Days Parade for several years.
The Boy Scouts Troop #20 meet weekly at Camp Shongaska (north of Hummel Park) on Shongaska Road (cross Ponca Creek, turn left), Mondays at 6:30 P.M.
