2019 Events

Florence is proud of its events.  From May to New Years, we have our major events, and the Florentine Players have events throughout the year; read more details on each one.  Several events are yearly neighborhood traditions.  "Florence Days" is celebrated in May.  The holiday season is celebrated with Christmas Tree Lighting in Florence Park by the Florence Historical Foundation, along with the annual Gingerbread display at the Mormon Trail Center from near Thanksgiving until the end of the year.  Florence organization meeting dates are shown on the organizations page.

Some events are recurring events.  If we have not been provided final data for the year, some dates shown may be based on past year information, and as such will show "Tentative" before the date.  Some details for "later-in-the-year" events may change.  Check with any contacts for confirmation.  Florence Futures Foundation makes an effort to provide accurate information, however, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any event details.

2019 Events in Historic Florence:

All 2019 events have not been officially supplied. Some items on this page have been deducted from the 2018 schedule, and based on previous year dates, are likely correct.

We rest and prepare for another year from January to early May, although there will be Florentine Players performances starting in January or February, and the Douglas County Historical Society will have monthly events. Check our Events page for details and final dates as we learn about them.
