2020 Events

Florence is proud of its events.  From May to New Years, we have our major events, and the Florentine Players have events throughout the year; read more details on each one.  Several events are yearly neighborhood traditions.  "Florence Days" is normally celebrated in May except for 2020, it was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the concern for the health of everyone.   Florence organization meeting dates are shown on the organizations page.

Some events are recurring events.  If we have not been provided final data for the current year, some dates shown may be based on past year information, and as such will show "Tentative" before the date.  Some details for "later-in-the-year" events may change.  Check with any contacts for confirmation.  Florence Futures Foundation makes an effort to provide accurate information, however, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any event details.

2020 Events in Historic Florence:

All 2020 events have not been officially supplied. Some items on this page have been deducted from the 2019 schedule, and based on previous year dates, are likely correct.

Others

We rest and prepare for another year from January to early May, although there will be Florentine Players performances starting in January or February, and the Douglas County Historical Society will have monthly events. Check our Events page for details and final dates as we learn about them.
