Born in Bogota, Columbia, Dr. Arbelaez is currently an Associate Professor at the History Department, the Office of Latino-Latin American Studies, and Women and Gender Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has taught courses and authored several articles on Mexican American history, religion, and women studies.

- Featuring pre-1965 cars, this FREE event is meant to be fun for the whole family. Last year's event welcomed over 70 vehicles to the Fort and this year's event is expected to draw an even bigger and more diverse crowd of classic cars.
- Transport yourself through time with rides around The Fort in a variety of vintage vehicles including: Model As, Model Ts, and many more. The chance to engage with automobile history like this doesn't come often, so don't miss your opportunity to step back into time. In addition to the cars, there will plenty of other activities to enjoy throughout the day.
- Past year entertainment has been provided with performances by the 1st Nebraska Volunteers Brass Band, Ed Svoboda's Red Raven Orchestra, Humanities Nebraska's Helen Waring-Johnson and the “Craoi na Tire” Irish Dancers. There will also be fun crafts for the whole family including patriotic pinwheels and an automobile assembly line to take home your own crafted car.
- The General Crook House Museum will be offering FREE admission to encourage visitors to visit the new interactive exhibit, Big Noise in the Heartland: Omaha Broadcasting. The Meadowlark Model A Ford Club will have lunch, drinks, and snacks available for purchase.
